I've had this for a while now. It says it will work with multiple TV's. It doesn't. Only a few local channels can be tuned. The amplifier built in isn't strong enough and the installation is complex.

I spent at least 1 hour trying to adjust the antenna to bring in local stations which are only 5 miles away. Could get UHF but was unable to get the VHF stations to come in with enough power to view. Very disappointing antenna. I got better results with rabbit ears.

This is my second Terk TV44 - the former zapped in a terrible storm. I live approximately 65 miles from the Dallas area and this antenna provides 36 channels with signal strength measured by my Dish receiver at 85-100%. Works very well but would assume that terrain will be the greatest factor in determining signal pull. A bit of a tight fit on the Dish HD antenna, but discovered that if you completely remove the tightening disks and install with the antenna in place it is an easy job. (Removal of the disks not in the instructions).

I have had this on my Dish system for years. Picks up local HD and regular channels just fine. We are too far from the metro (live in southern MN) and it picks up locals from rochester, austin, mankato great. It is currently on our dual tuner HD DVR and we have had no issues with it. Best part is we can also record locals with the dvr, so at times we are able to record 3 programs at once!

I purchased this item as it claimed that the installation was easy and good reception and HD capabilities given that we are well within the 5 miles from transmission towers.

Well, the reception was so poor that a coat hanger works better. Also, the installtion was difficult as I needed to pry the item on to my dish, then pry it back off to remove the darn thing.

This item does not even warrant a 1 star as -5 stars would be the appropriate rating.
