I had seen this reviewed favorably in some of the professional HDTV sites, and since every item now-a-days seems to have at least one 1* review on Amazon, I overlooked the fact that there were over 20 1* on this item!
Received item from Amazon, looked nice, but is useles for my purpuse, which is to pull in local digital channels from an 8th floor SLC office with a panaromic window overlooking SLC and the sourrounding mountains.
Only recognized one channel (FOX) which chopped in-and-out. Was an utter waste of money for me. Now I ponder where to go next, since I can not have an external antenna.

Don’t waste your money. RCA indicates this product has “Superior” performance. When I ran the TV’s auto scan, it didn’t even get two channels who’s broadcast antenna I can see from my house. The antenna is now residing in the city dump, where it belongs.

I bought this for an addition to the regular rabbit ears antenna. Since I have several wall as blockers and living close to the freeway doesn’t make any easier. I have the antenna hanging on the wall close to the window, to get better reception. It works even when it is not that close to the window. Cable sometimes has disruption you need an alternative antenna, my brother had cable there was still problems with reception hate it because he was paying for good reception. When my brother saw my TV working good, he wanted one too and he like it the only thing is that he had to put it on the floor to make it work because he lives close the airport the digital reception was interrupted and by the way he cancelled his cable. If there seems to be a problem when you use it there are several ways to hang it or place on the counter, floor, or desktop either way, it does give a better view on the TV.

I bought smaller flat antennas from walmart that performs better than this one. I have to move and position this thing all the time. And if I am seeking a certain channel, when I find it by MOVING the antenna, I lose another. Don’t buy this one people. You’d be better of buying the so called weaker version at walmart. I get all of my channels and I never have to move the one I bought from walmart! And who wants an unsightly white antenna anyway!!!! News flash: Most TV’s come in black and so do the stands. White is so hard to hide.

i got this antenna to replace my cheap am fm antenna as all tv stations went digital but it didn’t do any thing, no change. if i had it to do over i would’nt buy it.
