i have not been getting any signal from a my satilite we called dish net but they cant do any thing intill the 14th of july i cant wait that long any sujestions and what is satilite 119 and 110

We purchased a dish from dish network and we have completed our 2 years. Now do I have to continue with their programing or is it possible to just purchase programing from another company and use the same dish?
