Best answer:

Answer by classicsat
Just run it from the receiver to the dish, and remove the LNBF and screw the new cable on, and replace the LNBF.

I currently have a Dish Network dish on my house. I would like to go back to Directv want to know if I can just switch out the LNB’s on the actual dish? I understand that I will have to recalibrate the satellite and that’s not a problem.

Best answer:

Answer by classicsat
You need to swap the whole dish.

Assume 2 diffrent satellites are located at the same orbit possitions lets say 26 degrees east and their beam is focused to the country you live(you can receive both signals of the satellites). but the channells of one satellite is of linear polarity(vertical and horizontal) and the other satellite is of circuler polarities(right and left). Is is possible to receive all the channells from both satellites with one dish pointed in one direction? What should you do to the LNB?
Both satellites are of C-band

Best answer:

Answer by cajun101.com
Yes check out this page http://sadoun.com/Sat/Products/Invacom/Invacom-QPH-031-Quad-lnbf.htm

The lnb has 4 outputs. 2 linear and 2 Circular. Not sure of the size of dish that you will need though.

What do you think? Answer below!

Best answer:

Answer by Matt L
Yes they can, you just simply rotate the LNB 90degrees to become on the hoz plane.

This adjustment is necessary every time you want to change signals, so either you have a dish per signal, or a motorised dish that can change it’s direction to suit what you have programmed.

DISH NETWORK DISH 1000.2 TRIPLE LNB HD HI DEF

ADDITIONAL INPUT FOR 4TH ORBITAL LOCATION.

This LNB is used for getting signal from the 119, 110, and 129 satellites. It is internally switched, no external switches required. When installed on a Dish 1000.2 dish, this is capable of bringing in HD channels from the 129, something a 121 Superdish cannot do. You can only use this LNB on a Dish 1000.2 dish, as it won’t physically fit on any other dish. Use this LNB if you want to use 3 single-tuner receivers, like a 301, 311, etc., or if you want to hook up 3 dual-tuner receivers, like a 322, 625, 622, etc.
