I have Directv service and when i got the installation i only received 3 receivers. I recently ordered a Receiver to add to my service and i would like to know how to add a cable to the LNB on the Satellite Dish.

Just run it from the receiver to the dish, and remove the LNBF and screw the new cable on, and replace the LNBF.

It works fine turning the tv on and off and the volume is fine also. But it is not connecting to the receiver. We have two tvs tv1 & tv2, its the control for tv2 that is not working. Help please , it is NOT the batteries.
